Uphoarding
Upcycled wooden mural on Olympic site, London.
I was invited to work with Moniker Projects and the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) to create a mural that would form part of the hoarding around the developments on what was the Olympic park after the 2012 London Olympics.
With designs inspired by sports, movement and local architecture - I created a 200 metre long wooden mosaic - comprising of upcycled wood from the local area and local businesses - which not only added an additional layer of texture - but also a narrative and sense of belonging from the local area.
